Hi, I’m Danni. I’m obsessed with the outdoors; oceans, palm trees and sunsets.

I’ve travelled all over the world and have seen the devastating effects humans are having on our beautiful planet. If we don’t act, and if we don’t act together, the generations to come will not know the planet we love, nor will they have the wonders of nature we take for granted every day… We need to do more as a community now to make sure the future of health of our planet is sustainable for the long term.

This brand symbolises everything that is good, and everything that is geared towards making a positive change for the future of everyone.

A sense of purpose, happiness and having the maximum amount of good vibes in my life are what's important to me! I work as a Geologist on a roster, which means instead of the usual two-day weekend I get six days - so it's important to me to fill these with meaningful moments; most of which are spent cruising around Australia in my self-built vintage campervan!

So many of us here in Australia live lifestyles where we are fortunate & privileged enough to be in positions where we can add so much good to the world, via simple choices - whether it's donating money to charity, conscious diets & purchases that help the planet, and supporting small brands and businesses that are trying to make a difference. Respect Ya Mum aligns so strongly with these views and it feels so good to work with a brand that shares the same values as me!

For the last decade, I've been fortunate to be able to follow my passions, which is traveling, exploring the world and snowboarding. Mountains have always been magical to me, and I've spent years chasing that special feeling, while snowboarding and making friends and memories along the way. For the moment, I've relocated to the coast and hoping to explore and enjoy what the area has to offer, and expand my adventures outside of just the snow.

I'm stoked to be an ambassador for Respect Ya Mum. With my lifestyle and my travels, I've had a chance to see first hand some of the effects that humans and natural events have had on the environment. I've seen the fall out from the Australian bushfires, to the effects of global warming throughout several winter seasons. For sometime now I've wanted to use my profile to support a good cause, and Respect Ya Mum is one I felt right getting behind!

Nothing brings me a greater happiness than the ability to explore and appreciate our natural world! For the last 6 or so years I’ve being very fortunate that my job as a photographer has taken me outdoors to experience the wonders of nature. But while I cherish every moment of this time, it’s also confronted me with the fact that our beautiful planet is quite literally choking on plastic.

In recent years I’ve found that I can’t go for a dive on the reef, take a hike in the rainforest or even a morning stroll along the beach without running into rubbish at every turn and it absolutely breaks my heart. I’m therefore so excited to be an advocate for Respect Ya Mum, a brand with the environment as their number one focus, giving Mother Nature the respect she deserves!

Spent most my life bouncing between winters in the mountains chasing snow, and, summers by the coast catching waves with mates. I am beyond blessed to have been able to experience all mother nature has to offer and can’t wait to keep on exploring all its hidden gems. Here for a good time AND a long time, which is why we have to ensure our world will be here for just as long. 

I believe we each have a chance to make a difference, what better place to start then the clothes on our back and to get behind a brand with a purpose.
